I met Carina in the early 2000’s when i got my second job. She was actually my recruiting agent at the time and was the one that successfully placed me in my first real job 🙂 I remember Carina having a very positive outlook toward life – taking no prisoners and holding nothing back.
So when she asked us to do her son, Irving’s birthday pictures (and also incorporate some family pics), i jumped at the idea. Irving turned 12 and he got to invite some of his friends to Giraffe House for the day. It’s a non profit wildlife awareness centre, where guests (kids in this case) get to interact with the animals, while learning about them at the same time. They had great fun and even got to feed some of the animals. Thereafter the tour guide gave a little presentation on the smaller insects that we take for granted. The kids remained entertained, even when coming up close with Mr Arachnid.
