The assignment: To capture smiley faces in portraiture and full length in under 2 hours i.e. 3 families, 1 studio
The Families: The Smythes, The Feders, The Virets
The Venue: Blackdog Studios
The Challenge: shooting 10 people of which 4 are very healthy, energetic toddlers
The Question: why do I do this to myself?
The Answer: because I love this job!!!!!
When aunty Dags (Dagmar Smythe) gave me the brief as to how she would like the shoot and which elements it should contain, I must admit that I felt a bit hot under the collar. Firstly, I never had so much people in studio at the same time before and secondly, the kids were going to give me a good workout. Furthermore, it would be the first time that I was to use this particular studio but Sally Mellish was more than accommodating. Nevertheless, I was looking forward to it because it is this kind of challenges that really gets me pumped!
The day turned out to be nothing but a huge success! We had so much fun in studio and everyone had played their part to make it great. We know this family for a while now and we’ve always been saying that this needs to be done, but it was mom Dagmar that took charge and made it happen!
Have a look and see that some people could easily qualify in a career in modelling and give up their day jobs 🙂
